From dental assistant to club dancer to communication designer and event & artist manager – Ellen has explored many fields and her path eventually led her to Berlin.
Music was omnipresent in her family, and she also tried her hand at various instruments, from the recorder in elementary school to piano, guitar, and singing. However, her true passion was and still is dancing. She spent many years performing as a dancer at festivals, clubs, and numerous other events and trade fairs and also ran her own agency for several years.
After completing her design studies at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (formerly FH W-S), Ellen moved to Berlin and started to work in her new profession. Along the way, she immediately began volunteering for various cultural and cultural policy initiatives and has been organizing events since 2008.
Since 2010, she has been the artist manager for Dr. Motte and co-founded the non-profit organization Rave The Planet (rave the planet gGmbH) in 2019. There she is a shareholder and works as Creative Director and Head of PR, but her involvement goes far beyond that.
